15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, and also applicable federal U.S. law.
Jurisdiction You agree that any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, USA, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Spinras may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of our intellectual property or other rights. (Optional: Arbitration) – At this time, Spinras has not mandated arbitration. Any introduction of an arbitration clause would be communicated to users via an update to these Terms.
Time Limit Any claim by you arising in connection with the Service or these Terms must be brought within one year of the event from which the claim arose, or such claim is permanently barred (this limitation may not apply where prohibited by law).
